Spiderwort is a member of the Tradescantia genus, commonly found in gardens and wildflower meadows.
🌸 Detailed Description of Spiderwort:
Flowers: Showcases delicate, three-petaled blooms in a soft blue, lavender, pinkish and white colors. Each flower is about 1 inch across.
The petals are rounded and slightly overlapping, with a subtle ruffled edge.
At the center, it has prominent yellow-tipped stamens, which contrast beautifully against the cool-toned petals.
Leaves: The leaves are long, narrow, and grass-like, often arching or bending slightly. They are bright green and provide a nice backdrop to the blooms.
Growth Habit: Spiderwort grows in clumps or spreading mounds, typically reaching 1 to 2 feet tall. It’s a herbaceous perennial that thrives in sun to part shade.
