Elderberry

- Description
The Elderberry is known for their use in culinary, medicinal, and ornamental applications.
🌿 Detailed Description of the Elderberry:
Overall Shape: The plant has a large, bushy, multi-stemmed shrub form, standing several feet tall. It may eventually reach up to 10–12 feet in height and width when fully grown.
Leaves: The leaves are compound, with several (usually 5–9) elongated, serrated leaflets on each stem. They are bright green and slightly glossy, creating a lush appearance.
Flowers: The plant is currently in bloom with clusters of small, creamy-white flowers. These flowers are grouped into broad, flat-topped inflorescences known as corymbs or umbels, which are typical of elderberry species.
Habitat: It’s growing in what appears to be a natural or semi-natural woodland edge or clearing, a preferred habitat for elderberries that enjoy moist, well-drained soils and partial to full sun.
